I would like to know if there are any template SAS programs or macros that create Lab test results report files in the CALINX format (i.e. California Information Exchange standard). I suspect someone already has developed a SAS program to format lab data reports using the CALINX lab data standard specifications, which entail the use of multiple-segment records with separator characters to group data elements in a hierarchical structure, in this manner:
