Does anyone have experience converting flow cytometry files (fcs) into SAS datasets?  If so, any knowledge that can be shared would be greatly appreciated.  My understanding is the fcs file is a standard format for flow cytometry data, and I've been asked about the possibility of being able to read in the file.  I do not currently have a file with which to try anything.  Is there a way to do this conversion easily within SAS?

JMP (a SAS product) claims to read Flow Cytometry Files (versions 2 and 3) as data tables. And SAS has an engine to read JMP data as datasets.
