Many developers prefer to keep their GIT repository as the 'ultimate source' of their project, and deploy regularly to Viya for code execution.

For this, it can be necessary to create the necessary folder tree in SAS drive programmatically.

This video demonstrates two approaches for doing this - the first, using SAS code, the second, using the SASjs CLI.

The relevant macros if you plan to use SAS code are:

• mv_createfolder
• mv_deleteviyafolder

The relevant commands for doing this with the SASjs CLI are:

• sasjs folder create
• sasjs folder delete
