Dear @SomnathP , this project will have long term benefits for not just Manufacturing Industry , but in many other Engineering Industries as well 👍

I worked in technology adoption for industrial 3D printing, and optimizing the OEE of industrial 3D printing is a huge area of improvement required. From being able to predict whether a build will succeed, what the strength characteristics of the final part will be, optimizing part placement and orientation for efficiency and strength, to controlling and optimizing parameters based on thermal dynamics in the printer. It would be awesome if you could elaborate a little on the type of 3D printing (method/material)  and the aspect of the process you plan to improve and the methodology you have in mind (prediction of end state, optimization of recipe parameters, optimization of part placement, real-time process control, etc)?

Dear @AroopB, thank you for your comment.

Indeed, this project will have long-term benefits in multi-industries. This is just the start and we are motivated to reach the long-term goal, step-by-step.

Dear @surajkamath,

Thank you for your enthusiasm.

A lot of detailed questions, which I would like to get back to you, soon. Please, share with us what role would you like to play in the hackathon?

Let us connect on LinkedIn, and have a chat over a virtual coffee.

Regards,

Somnath
