Autistic life changer, first approach to detect ASD

Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) encompasses many symptoms that appear gradually during early childhood; a timely detection deviation from the neurotypical profile allows early attention and delay the increase of these symptoms, aiming affected children to behave, learn and socialize more easily. We want to create an intelligent system based on machine learning algorithms that allow the detection of ASD; in the first stage,, the system will be based on behaviors (emotion recognition and bots for interaction) and diet (based on microbiota composition). As cases are confirmed by microbiota composition by the massive implementation of this intelligent system, a larger database will be generated to determine the bacteria (diet association) in the gut related to ASD.

So excited to mentor this team!  The results are hopefully compelling and can lead to much more analysis and potential changes for those on the ASD spectrum!

This is an excellent problem to solve. As per WHO on every ~150 children one child suffers from ASD. If shared, it would be great to see findings and insights....
