SAS turns 40 this year, and we want to capture (on video) your best SAS stories spanning the last four decades.

We are looking for people to share a story of how your use of SAS has helped you in some way. Or you can bring a piece of SAS memorabilia to SAS Global Forum and tell us about it – such as a T-shirt, conference giveaway or old manual.

We’ll be conducting short video interviews throughout the conference in the Tech Town area of the Quad (look for the SAS Cinema).

You can drop by during The Quad hours, or register in advance to reserve a specific time slot. If you wish to register in advance, please email Kim.Darnofall@sas.com with your name, organization and a brief description of your memorabilia or story.

Check out the nooks and crannies in your office, and be a part of SAS history!

And if you would like to donate a piece of memorabilia to the permanent SAS historical collection, we’ll be glad to lighten your load for the trip home!

What a lovely idea @Kim_Darnofall!!!

I look forward to hopefully sharing my SAS story as one of the first graduates at SAS Australia in 1997 and bringing in a SUGA (SAS User Group Australia) t-shirt. Check out the bootcamp team photo at http://www.sas.com/en_au/company-information.html#1990s Smiley Happy

Kim,

Oh, great idea!

I plan to bring my trusty, blue, faded SAS drinking cup.  I've had it for years and dragged it to countless meetings.  The "SAS" has long since faded from both sides, but they don't make them anymore, so I hold onto it.

The cup has become my trademark here and people sometimes ask "Hey, where's your SAS cup?" when I forget it.

@MMMIIIIKKKKEEEE Sure is! At first, I thought you were posting a picture of your SAS swimming pool.
