I'd like to create a graph in a PDF that links to other tables in the same file. For example, if the 1st graph on page 1 of the PDF is total sales data for 4 regions, I want each region in that chart to link to a separate data table for that region in the same PDF file. Any suggestions?
I'm not sure about PDFs ...
But, if you might be able to get by with html/web pages instead, I know it's possible there. You can set up the html links in your graphs to drilldown to html 'anchors' farther down in the same html page (these could be other graphs, tables, etc).
Here are a couple of examples:
Thanks Robert. If you don't think it can be done, it probably can't be done. Thanks for your fast reply.
Somebody might know of a way!
I really/truly don't know what all is possible with SAS graphs in pdf (almost all my knowledge/experience is with 'ods html'). So I'm watching eagerly with you, to see if anyone else provides some suggestions!
This paper has examples of drilling from a graph in a PDF to another PDF, and drilling from a graph in a PDF to web page. (starts on Page 17) Since drilling within a PDF is possible with tables using anchors and internal links, I would think the below method might be adaptable to have graphs that drill within a PDF as well.
