Hi,

I have a question regarding forecasting. I have 7 years of data (2010-2016, on monthly basis) of sales in different age-classes and I was to predict/forecast the sales in 2017.

I have data on the popualtion in each age group from 2010-2016 and also the predicited popualtion for 2017.

How is the easiest way to build this model in SAS?

Thanks!

Thomas

Look at the options under SAS/ETS - PROC FORECAST

http://documentation.sas.com/#!/?docsetId=etsug&docsetVersion=14.2&docsetTarget=etsug_forecast_examp...

PS. I've moved your question to the SAS Forecasting forum

Do not use PROC FORECAST, it is deprecated.
The simplest way is PROC ESM.
The more sophisticated way is PROC ARIMA.
