My data source has been moved from the mainframe to an LDAP Server. Now the SAS application needs to connect to the Server and Search for the data to be extracted - a couple thousand entries. I can't find any examples of accessing an LDAP server from a z/OS batch SAS program. Can anyone help? Thanks, Rich

Hi:
This may be a better question for Tech Support.

Have you seen these:
http://support.sas.com/rnd/itech/doc9/admin_ldap/sasserver/iombridge/sp_start.html
http://support.sas.com/rnd/itech/library/toc_adminldap.html
http://support.sas.com/rnd/itech/doc9/admin_ldap/sasserver/iombridge/iom_sum.html

To contact Tech Support, go to: http://support.sas.com and on the left hand navigation pane, select "Submit a Problem" -- these are the kinds of questions that they are best able to answer, as they can get you directly to folks with expertise in z/OS and LDAP.
