We are migrating the SAS version to a new server, some tables are being copied from one server to another, but are generating no records. Could someone help me with information on this.

How are you copying the files?

What are the involved operating systems?

Which SAS versions are involved?

What is the log and result of proc contents when run on such an incorrectly copied file?

Best practice is to use the SAS migration utilities to migrate data.  Differences in version and encoding can complicate things, so a simple file copy might not be enough.  See the Migration guide for more information.
