How to display the record number using a variable in enterprise guide ?

Any leads - will be much appreciated.

Hi!
When you are in EG and select:
Describe --> List Data
(Then choose your variables )
Click Options (in theTask Roles pane)
Look for an option to "Print the row number"
Check the box if you want to show the row number on your list of the data. Uncheck the box if you do NOT want the row numbers.


Otherwise, if you are looking at the data file in table mode, the numbers that go down the left-hand side of the table correspond to the row numbers or observation numbers.
