I have a program in SAS EG 4.3 with condition set. It is supposed to prompt me yes/no to confirm if I want to run the program.

Is it by design that the prompt will only fire up when RUN BRANCH FROM is executed and not when RUN is selected?

all prompts in visible in the whole the branch will pop-up once at the start when you do a run. What is the problem with that?

I have two sas program linked. When I click RUN BRANCH FROM, it prompts me yes/no to continue which is what I want.

But when I right-click on same individual SAS code and select RUN, it does not prompt me. It straight away executes which is not what I expected.

when the prompts are defined at each program (individual sas code) they should pop-up when that code is started.

My observations:

I am in EG:

1. Prompt is fired when I open the SAS code, and I run the code

2. Prompt is NOT fired when I am on the process flow window, and I right click the SAS code icon to run

I checked eguide behavior (5.1) with:  code  1 middle pane - 2cleft pane   flow /3  middle pane and 4 right pane several wasy to start. Prompts are never being missed.
