prompt manager to prompt for data

Hi,

  I'm new to sas,trying to create user prompt to enter date value...so that it will create
  dataset for that period.

  ex:if i enter 2010Q1...it has to pull all records for that period.

  And then i have to create new dataset.Here is the sample dataset.

  one more dataset for duplicate records....from that i have to get
  duplicates for that account.

  Account  raw_total count_ missing_ date  count_missing_type  duplicates

  abc      150        20   10             

  xyz      120        10                                         5

  Can someone please guide me.
