Hi,

I recently updated to SAS 7.1 and found the neat new feature of program history control. This is a great new feature that will make my life a bit easier in the future.

However, I have one question; Is there anyway of implementing the history control to entire process flows? I want to be able to follow changes in queries, graphs, etc. Basically anywhere code is written fore me using the graphical user interface.

Thanks,

Jon Nielsen

The underlying system is git, a versioning system for program codes, therefore text.

Unless a sensible way is found to represent the process flow in a text file (where small changes in the flow don't cause a complete rewrite of the text that makes it impossible for the versioning system to show the difference in an understandable way), I don't see how SAS could implement that.
