1) how do i apply an existing SAS Base format in SAS Enterprise guide?

2) what is equivalent of PROC Summary in SAS Enterprise guide ?

1) Use it in code as usual. The query builder and many other tasks allow you to assign formats to variables.

2) Look for a task called "descriptive statistics"; it utilizes proc means, which is the logical equivalent of proc summary.
