Hello,
The old SAS code was :
data out1a.jourouvrableprovds (write=po alter=po);
set in1.jourouvrableprovds (write=po alter=po);
run;
Now If I want to use this instead:
proc datasets;
copy in=in1 out=out1a;
select jourouvrableprovds;
run;
quit;
Where do we put the write and alter access with the proc datasets;
Is this what you are looking for ?
libname in1 v9 'c:\temp\';
libname out1a v9 'c:\temp\z';
proc datasets library=out1a nowarn;
copy in=in1 out=out1a;
select jourouvrableprovds;
run;
modify jourouvrableprovds(write=po alter=po read=xx);
run;
quit;
Use a slash to change a password.
data T1(pw=R);
A=1;
run;
proc datasets nolist ;
modify T1(write=R/W alter=R/A read=R/RR);
run;
quit;
proc print data=T1(read=RR);
run;
