Hello,

One of my colleagues is asking if it is possible to create indexes at another location than the file location.  I am not familliar with that at all.  What I understand, he would like to create those indexes at the same place reserved for the Oracle table.

Is it possible to provide me an example of to do it. Also, it will be nice to have a good document on that subject.

Regards,

If you create the index on the Oracle side and use pass through SQL it will use the Oracle Index.
If the data is in an Oracle DB create the indexes in Oracle. Working across DB types is always problematic though.
