Hi,

PostScript is a page description language, its most popular implementation is in PDF files.
More info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portable_Document_Format#PostScript

Cheers,
There Is.

Oops, forgot to answer your second question:

SAS works with PDF in many of its products, just to name a few:
- SAS BASE (ODS PDF Statement): http://support.sas.com/onlinedoc/913/getDoc/en/odsug.hlp/a002231506.htm
- SAS Enterprise Guide (As a result option): http://support.sas.com/onlinedoc/913/getDoc/en/overview.hlp/ov-enterpriseguide.htm
- Web Report Studio (As a printing option): http://support.sas.com/onlinedoc/913/getDoc/en/biov.hlp/a002910328.htm
