I believe your expression is looking for one or more word character, followed by a dash, followed by one or more word characters.

It's worth investing some time in learning the PRX routines. They can be an incredible time saver.

Thank you Tom. I can relate to the expression now which is looking for a pattern in the data with one or more characters, followed by dash, followed by one or more characters.
