I installed SAS Enterprise Guide and all looked correct when it was complete. When I tested the installation with a program provided by my instructor, my log looks different than the log in the video my instructor posted. Mine is all black. Hers had black and green lines. What am I doing wrong?
I don't know why this would happen after a default installation. You can change the SAS log appearance under Tools/Options on a rather granular level.
When I go into Enhanced Editor Options; Foreground is Green and Background is White (Default). So this means if the test program is running correctly I should have green text as well as black, right?
In your situation I would be very tempted to select the Reset All button, to revert to SAS-provided defaults which I find pretty acceptable anyway. I moved away from green text on a black background when monochrome IBM mainframe terminals and IBM PCs were superseded back in the 1980s.....
Good news: We've extended SAS Hackathon registration until Sept. 12, so you still have time to be part of our biggest event yet – our five-year anniversary!
