Hi,

We face an issue, where we cannot see a particular dataset under a library which is a predefined library in SMC.

Following error in EG:

The data operation failed. The following error occured. <?xml version="1.0" ?> <Exception ><SASMessage severity = "None">

When we tried to open the same dataset in DI Studio, where this dataset is being created, following error message:

An error occured while fetching data for <dataset name>. Details of error are mentioned in the details section. Do you want to ignore and retry querying the table?

Unable to execute query: SQL passthru expression contained errors.

We had refreshed the metadata to update the metadata, and waiting to restart the service. Meanwhile is this the right solution for this error.

Kindly help, Thanks.

How is the data set pre-defined in SMC?

How is the library assigned?

It seems that there is a miss-match between the physical table attributes and it's metadata. Try "Analyze" in DI Studio, or issue your own PROC CONTENTS to verify this.

Data never sleeps
