Hi all,

I'm very much a newbie with EG so applogies if this is something obvious,

I'm trying to use EG to create a userdefined format from a dataset.

My dataset is two date columns, I want to use the second as the label, however I keep getting the error - Variable label has been defined as both character and numeric. The dates are fien so I cant figure out what I'm doing wrong.

My settings are:

SAS_EG1.GIF

SAS_EG2.GIF

SAS_EG3.GIF

Any help appreciated

In your source dataset, filter_for_..., the variable label needs to be a character.
