Hi
I am currently using SAS Enterprise Guide 8.1 installed on a remote application server. Due to security settings this machine has a very limited internet access. The Check for Updates is thus disabled, reporting Unable to connect. After going around security settings my admin got to redownload the software depot but alas, it only contains install files for 8.1.
Is there a way to update Enterprise Guide from 8.1 to 8.2 or 8.3 without going through the Check for updates options?
Any input on this would be highly appreciated!
Regards,
Kristine
You'd need to request the latest SAS 9.4 software depot specifically asking for the EG standalone install for 8.3. AFAIK, you can't get just the latest EG as a download. It has often been a requested enhancement on the Community but so far you are stuck downloading a 20GB plus depot just to get the updated EG.
