Hi experts,

I am new to SAS. I am working with SAS Web Report Studio 3.1 right now. I am having few doubts. My questions are,

1. Can I bring more than one Information Maps in the SAS Web Report Studio 3.1?
2. Can I have toggle button to expand and collapse the rows and columns in the crosstab table?

For example, I am displaying category and subcategory in the rows. Report is displaying both the category and subcategory. But i want to display category first, by selecting the toggle button the sub category has to display. Is it possible?

Help me in this issue.

Regards,
Sujeev

You can use one information map per section of the report. You (or any appropriate user) can create as many SAS Information Maps as you want using SAS Information Map Studio. For SAS Web Report Studio 3.1, you will need to make sure those information maps are located in the BIP tree in order to have access to them. Keep in mind that an information map can be built on many different relational tables which are combined with a join behind the scenes.

2. Can I have toggle button to expand and collapse the rows and columns in the crosstab table?
As far as I know, you would need to be using an information map built on an OLAP cube in order to have this ability. OLAP cubes can be created in SAS OLAP Cube Studio or SAS Data Integration Studio... and then you would need to build an information map on the cube to utilize it in SAS Web Report Studio. You could use report linking, where one report summarizes by category and another summarizes by category and subcategory, to allow you to click from the summary report to the expanded detail report. That's more work and probably not as slick for what you're discussing however.
