Hi,

Recently I was asked to work on a project that requires SAS 9.2. I was already running SAS 9.4 (locally) and the network team installed SAS 9.2 on my machine (locally) as well so I could work with this project. Upgrading the project to SAS 9.4 is not an option for various reasons. So when I opened up my Enterprise Guide I noticed that the system information now lists SAS 9.2 as my SAS system version. Ideally I would like to be able to switch between SAS 9.2 and SAS 9.4 in my Enterprise Guide 6.1. Is that possible? I know Enterprise Guide 6.1 says its supports both versions but I don't know how to switch between them.

Thanks

Brian

If you have both SAS versions installed locally, you can switch between which one will be active in EG by registering the desired version with the regserver option.  For example:

C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.4\sas.exe /regserver

Or

C:\Program Files\SASHome\SASFoundation\9.2\sas.exe /regserver
