Suddenly LE 2.0 Can't Connect

I am running Learning Edition 2.0 on a WIndows XP machine. I opened it up the other day to find that it will no longer run. All I get is "Cannot Connect to Server "Local" error. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and a registry fix suggested by SAS support also made no difference. I really need this running, as I am studying for my advanced certification.

Does anyone have any other direction for me?

You need to speak with Technical Support who will walk you through examining the system logs for your installation.
