I Modified and Rebuilt an OLAP cube with an SQL Detailed View as the Data source, since there were some new Dimensions and data was added. I have noticed that the data was not appearing in some Dimensions at all levels for that dimensions ,even the source has the data.

I have copied the Proc OLAP code to EG, renamed the Cube and built the Cube the new cube it has the data at the same levels.

I have used the proc olap cube to delete and create the Original cube again, but the issue still persists, however all the cubes I rename have the data.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

That sounds weird.

"I have used the proc olap cube to delete and create the Original cube again".

Have you first deleted the cube metadata or trusted that running the code will do this for you.

I've observed that (SAS 9.2):
- I can only register a SQL view as metadata table if the library is not pre-assigned (but it works for physical SAS tables).
- Update of a metadata table does not work if the source is a SQL SAS view (even if the library is not pre-assigned).

May be there are some similar "features" hitting you with your OLAP cube.

I have used the Delete option in the OLAP code to do that.

However the issue is resolved after manually deleting the cube files and re-building the cube.
