The 8.1 version of SASEG appears to have a different default setting when modifying a query that overwrites the previous query/program. Is there a way to change this setting so that a popup dialogue box appears (when you select RUN) that asks if you want this modified query to replace the existing query (as was the default setting in SASEG v7.1)..?

It is very useful to be able to tweak, and retain, the prior query when creating a new, but very similar query, so you don't have to re-create all the same logic/filters. Thanks!

Hi @PAPADHARMA

In v8.1 there is no longer an option to "Prompt before Replace" -- it's always just replace.  But you can still create a new query based off an existing one in a couple of ways.

1. Copy/paste - copy a query node and paste in your flow to create a second version, then open/modify that second copy.

2. Create a Query Template, which allows you to save your query structure like a "favorite". Right-click on the query node and select Create task template to get started. This stores your query settings outside of your project, so you can call them up in any new project you have.
