Hi!  We are switching our computing environment from individual PC licenses to a Linux grid server.  We communicate with SAS on the grid server through Enterprise Guide.  In PC SAS, we have access to the library of sample SAS programs by clicking:

Helpthen selectSAS Help and Documentation.

On the Contents tab, select Learning to Use SASthen selectSample SAS Programsthen selectBase SASthen selectSamples.

These sample programs are very helpful!

Can we access this sample library via Enterprise Guide?  I haven't been able to find it there yet.

If it's not available through EG, can we get to it on the grid server and / or on the web?  I can find bits and pieces of it on the web, such as the examples for SAS/STAT at SAS/STAT 13.2 User's Guide Example Programs (Sample Library), or for ODS at SAS(R) 9.4 Output Delivery System: User's Guide, Third Edition, but they don't seem to be all in one place like they were in the SAS display manager help window.  And even the ones I found on the web weren't easy for me to find.  Believe it or not, I still haven't found the Base SAS example programs.

Thanks!

You may want investigate getting a desktop version of the online help from base SAS. You'll find that besides the missing samples that quite a few procedures and options are not as well documented as in the Base help files. At least that's what I see from my 9.3 install.
