How to protect files in SAS works?
A password file is encrypted?
It is really safe?
My problem is this, I have a huge file that must be copied to a temporary area that several people have access to this area but should not access these files and should be copied by other users to an area that we do not have access.
If I put a password on these files I guarantee that third parties can not access that file?

I would suggest you use some secure transfer ftp, have access restricted at the OS level.  So you would be granted write access to a network drive internal to your company, the others in the group who need access would be granted read only access.  Outside a company there a lots of technologies to transmit data accurately and securely.
