Hello,

In my SAS enterprise Guide Project (I have the 5.1 version), I wrote a program using proc GAM. This procedure is not found by SAS enterprise Guide (in the log, I read:"ERROR:proc GAM not found").

I execute the same program on regular SAS 9.3 and it works. It seems that a link doesn't exist between the toolbox STAT and my SAS enterprise Guide.

Because basic procedures (like proc dataset,etc...) work in my project. But it seems that the problem come from the fact that the toolbox is located in a remote server and not in my hard drive...

How can I deal with it? Where Can I make this link?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Arnaud

Arnaudd,

PROC GAM is part of SAS/STAT.  You'll need to make sure that SAS/STAT is licensed and installed on the SAS environment where the program is run.

To check what products are installed/licensed:

1. In the Servers list, expand the SAS server (ex: "SASApp") to connect to it.

2. Right-click on the server icon and select Properties.

3. From the Properties window, select the Software tab.

4. Click the View SAS Server Products button.

You should see a report that looks similar to this:

If SAS/STAT is not installed, then PROC GAM won't be available.

Hi Chris,

Thanks for your answer. I have SAS/STAT installed because proc GAM works if I used it in a regular "SAS 9.3" environment.

The thing is that I have some problem to access, with SAS enterprise guide, the server with SAS toolboxes. But finally, it turns out that's all about "problem with the IT department (access denied with the server hosting the toolboxes ...)". I'm waiting for the passwords to access it and come back if new problems appear.

Thanks again for your fast answer! This forum is really efficient when questions about SAS appear.
