Hi All,

I have a sas program with 15 datasets which I would like to merge by ID. Can you please suggest a macro?

No use of macro unless you want to merge different 15 datasets from time to time, AND you have some other logic than just the merge you want to reuse.

You will have to consider to you have any variables in the 15 sets other than the ID that have the same name?

If they have the same name which value do you want to keep?

If so are the all the same type? If there same named variables with different types you will likely get an error.

If the like named variables are character what length do you want it to be. You can get truncation of data with different lengths.

What have you tried so far?
