How to create SAS Libraries on Server?
AND How to create SAS Library on UNC Path like \\bdhjcbdhbvj.com\newfloder\temp
Thank U
You can use the same method for both. In code use a LIBNAME statement. If the library is on the SAS server you can still use the SAS server name in your UNC just like you use another server name.
libname mylib '\\bdhjcbdhbvj.com\newfloder\temp';
libname mylib2 '\\MySASServer\MyFolder';
A SAS library is a directory in the filesystem for which a library reference is present in SAS, via the libname statement.
So you need to create the directory on the server with the appropriate tool (or through the Files section in the server list), and define a libname.
To use a UNC in a libname statement, that UNC needs to be present in the server.
