I'm just trying out SAS Enterprise guide after programming directly in SAS since oh, about 1980. I've run down several small problems that came up, but one thing is nagging me. How does one open up help on SAS procedures, Base SAS, etc. from within Enterprise Guide. I can open up an instance of SAS, and get to it that way, but I shouldn't have to use up the resources. The pop-up syntax is nice, but sometimes I need to look at the details.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
Mike
I usually use the on-line help files.
The link I find most useful is this one:
http://support.sas.com/documentation/onlinedoc/base/index.html#base92
Have you tried clicking on the help icon? I think that all SAS documentation is available from there.
Well, I don't see a help ICON, and I hovered over each one to be sure. There is, of course, a Help menu selection, but it only provides links to Enterprise Guide information.
By the way, I'm set up running SAS and Enterprise Guide on my local machine.

I meant the Help menu selection. Apparently, it comes in multiple flavors as, when I click on it, all of the documentation is there as well as the on-line documentation.

I typically get it from support.sas.com; I've got a web browser open anyway. I don't think that EGuide gives me access to the full suite of help documents directly.
