Howdy, my dept went from local installations of EG to a GRID architecture. With local installation you could obviously double-click a file (.sas or .egp) and have it open with EG. However, since the GRID is "centralized" and launched via a browser I assume there's no way to maintain the double-click functionality? We use Citrix Xenapp as our "landing page" and then launch EG from there.
I would think Citrix Xenapp would have a way to configure file type associations, such that you could associate certain file types (ex. .egp in this case) on the client machine to a Citrix Xenapp published application (EG), but I can't confirm. A quick Google search provided some hits that looks like there is a way:
