Again, I think SAS Tech Support is the place to go for help with this issue. I don't know if anyone here in the SAS Communities knows what causes specific exceptions.

Hardly possible to help without many more details, which is the reason why the error message suggest contacting tech  support. They will need the information, too:

- EG and sas version

- the traceback

- in depth explanation what you actually did

Hi Andreas,

SAS version is 9.4_M4 and SAS EG version is 7.13 (64 bit)

An error of this nature is serious and is typically caused by either a computer hardware or software fault or a software bug. There is no one cause for this type of problem. The first question is always is the problem repeatable? Do you get the same error every time you run the same program? The second question is are you using SAS on a PC or a remote SAS server? If using PC SAS do you have access to another PC with SAS to check if this problem is PC-specific or not by running the problem program on the other computer? If you are using a remote SAS server you should talk to your SAS administrator for further advice. And of course @PaigeMiller 's recommendation of using SAS Tech Support is right on the money.
