Hello everyone. 🙂

I am currently having problems with my SAS EG project as part of my school requirements. Our instructor told us that we have to burn our project data in a disc once its done and the burned data will be copied to the instructor's desktop computer. However, once we've run the project on the instructor's computer, everything in the project resulted to an error. Our instructor told us that we should not use the assign project library and modify the task to change the directory. Everything (data sets, etc.) should be working with flexibility (without temporarily assigning the project library)

I have attached an image to show you the process flow. I have encircled the task that should not be in the project. Again, the goal of this project is to work with flexibility to other computers.

Hi

A few things to consider:

Considering all of this, you can simply copy a the base directory whereever you want and it will just work.

I've created a new program with the code on the blog you've provided and it worked!  I have copied my project data folder to another directory to my pc. I will try now to test whether that works on different computers with EG installed.!

Thank you so much for your help!!

So what happens if you remove that task?

Shouldn't your instructor be able to help you how to construct your project?

Data never sleeps

Then the rest of the data will simply not work.

Our instructor told us to work on how to resolve this problem on our own. See attached for the modify task part of the assign project lib statement
