Hi Team

We have recently migrated from SAS EG 4.1 to SAS EG 7.1. One of the projects (.egp) was created on SAS EG 4.1 . I am trying to run the project on SAS EG7.1 and its referring to old server. I checked to see if there was an option to change this to new server but could not.  This project was created by some other member in the team and he had asked me to run it for him.

Error says " A connection to the server "Enterprise guide server" could not be established ". Enterprise guide server is the old server name in SAS EG 4.1 and it should refer to SASApp server  in SAS EG 7.1 .

All other projects are running successfully.

Could you please advice.

Thanks in advance.

Rajesh.

In Tools/Project Maintenance/Server you find an option to "replace server in project" (or similar, I'm translating from the German user interface).

If you don't have the Project Maintenance, it might need to be enabled in your metadata profile.

You need to assign the role "Enterprise Guide Advanced" either to your user or to the/a group you're in.

Or you create a custom role from the one that you already have, where the function Enterprise Guide/Tools and Help/Access Project Maintenance is activated, and assign that to your user/group.

Hi Kurt

Thank you. It worked.
