When I go to View - Log Summary, the log summary window no longer appears. Project Log Summary and Task Status do still show up. I was thinking perhaps it got hidden somewhere, or is in the background, so I tried using alt+tab to bring it to the foreground, which did not work. I have tried restarting SAS EG, rebooting my whole computer, and that didn't work either. Where did my Log Summary window go and how can I get it back? it is greatly impacting my productivity not to have that window.
I haven't see that one, but you could try temporarily renaming the directory that stores the EG settings, to see if something in your settings is causing it. For example, rename:
%appdata%\SAS\EnterpriseGuide\7.1
To:
%appdata%\SAS\EnterpriseGuide\7.1orig
Then, restart EG (which will recreate the 7.1 directory above with default settings) and try again.

There is a bar at the top. Go to View. In the drop-down menu, the log summary is an orange icon with the exclamation mark.
Yes, that is what I am doing, and the problem is that the window doesn't show up after I choose Log Summary.

Thank you so much! This worked. My path was a bit different though:
C:\Users\(my user name)\AppData\Roaming\SAS\EnterpriseGuide\7.1
