SAS EG freezes when close dataset from GoogleBigQuery Library

Hi,

There is a library that, through odbc.ini and the corresponding Simba driver looks at the GoogleBigQuery cloud database. 

The library is assigned in the SAS EG without errors - all tables are visible and available through PROC SQL.

If you open dataset  through the explorer

after a while it will open.  But when you close the table, SAS EG freezes and continues to hang in this state do not respond to actions by the user:

It remains only to kill the SAS EG process. 

Has anyone encountered such application behavior?

Hi @HULK,

I think you should go straight to SAS Tech Support with this one because the behavior is absolutely not expected.

They will want to know if control eventually returns to EG.
