SAS EG 9.3 version running very slow and also taking time to access any table in SAS, even SAS Help tables.

What do you know of your environment? what can you see of your environment? Is it a new installation or a changed behavior of an existing one?

To follow on Jaap's comments.  There are a lot of possible reasons for slow response, many are not related to SAS. 

• What version of EG (I think that 4.3, 5, and 6 all work with SAS 9.3). 
• Is the SAS Server local or or running on a different machine?  Are the data local or on a different machine?
  • If the server or data are remote, you are likely to need to get you network people involved in solving this.
