I am getting the following error when try to submit the programm from local mechine to remote server ,can any one help me on that.
I used the follwingcode:
%let rem_id1=tdanal ;
options comamid=TCP remote=rem_id1;
signon 'E:\SAS\9.4\connect\saslink\tcpwin.scr';
Getting this error:
NOTE: Remote signon to REM_ID1 commencing (SAS Release 9.04.01M4P110916).
ERROR: A communication subsystem partner link setup request failure has occurred.
ERROR: Cannot locate TCP host 'REM_ID1'.
ERROR: Remote signon to REM_ID1 canceled.

You need to correctly address the macro variable:
options comamid=TCP remote=&rem_id1;

ERROR: No route to host
ERROR: Remote signon to 12.123 canceled.

Something must be wrong with your macro definition, as the options comamid seems to only pick up the first half of the IP address.
