I am wondering if there is any other way to create custom SAS/AF type interfaces within Enterprise Guide without having to go the .NET route.

Thanks

Fi,

Not currently. Your options for "custom processes" within Enterprise Guide, in order of increasing sophistication:

- use a code node
- use a code node and add project parameters (end user sees friendlier prompts)
- create stored processes (easy to run, user answers prompts)
- create custom tasks using .NET (complete control over user interface, interactivity, etc)

Hi Chris

thanks for the help -- am I able to have on parameter be populated based upon the value of another parameter

that is I want to specify a province code and have the path of an output file default to D:\'province code"

thanks
