Hello,

How can I let EG run certain SAS code during the start up, and can this be project dependend?

So if I open project A then file1.sas is exeuted and ig I open project B then file2.sas is executed.

Cheers,
Longhow.

Longhow,

There is not a way to do this right now, but this is on our list for a future release.

Hi Chris,

I am quit curious, what further things are there on this list and what is the time schedule for a future release?

Are you already in a position to disclose some of this information?

Cheers,
Longhow.

Is there a reason why Project A cannot have FILE1.SAS as its first step?

Kind regards

But Can you run only that first step without running everything else when you start EG?

I don't believe so, or Chris would have given you the solution.

However, you can highlight a code object, right-mouse-click it and select to update that object in isolation.

It remains a manual process, but as you design your suite of projects, you can associate each with an appropriate start-up code node.

Kind regards

Yep, I have sas node code for different projects that have to be run manually, it is only a small annoyance.
