Hi,

When I try to open the query builder using SAS eg 8.2 (32-bit) SAS freezes. SAS does not respond at all at that point and I can only quit SAS using the windows task manager. This happens in all my different SAS projects since today, 17/09/2020. I can still open data, run existing query builders, but I can't change existing query builder and I can't open new query builders (because at that point SAS freezes). When it freezes, it gives the notification below 'ready', so it can't be the case that the program is simply still running.

I already tried the solution suggested here: https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Enterprise-Guide/SAS-Enterprise-Guide-7-1-Freezes/td-p/321384, but that didn't work.

Thank you in advance!

Thank you! I was confused by the fact I was not using dual monitors at the moment the problem occured (it was actually already a week ago that I used dual monitors), but your suggested solution fixed the problem! I followed the steps:
1. Press Alt+Spacebar.
2. Press the down arrow.
3. Press Enter (this action will put the window into move mode).
4. Press the right arrow key (this action will tell the OS that you are moving the window).
5. Move your mouse around and see whether the window becomes visible.
And the window of the query builder became visible!

Thank you!
