Hello,

Is there a way to merge or import process flows from other project files? Or even possible to compare the differences between projects?

We have many team members working on the same project. I want to know if it is possible that their works can be merge back into the main project?

Thank you.

Hello Ken,

Take a look at this note: http://support.sas.com/kb/18/414.html

Enterprise Guide projects are actually zipped files. If you rename your myfile.egp file to myfile.zip, you'll be able to uncompress it. Take a look at what you get: it is a set of xml, sas code, .... You could perhaeps base your comparisons on this. But it won't be easy for sure. I don't think there are other ways to compare egp files.

I don't think it is possible to merge or import process flows from other project files.

I hope you'll get other inputs. It is an interesting question !

Regards,

Yoba

Thank you all very much!

This is a bad news for me :-(. I hope they could come up with an add-on utility for these tasks.

Thanks,
Ken

Agree. It seems that EGuide was conceptualized for single users (at least through 4.1).
