Is there any SAS log being produced? If so test all of the steps in order one by one past the ones that actually completed OK to isolate where your program is hanging. Post the log of your job in case there are any clues as to what is happening.

There isn't really a reason to create a word document to attach to messages on the forum. Copy the text from your editor and paste directly into a code box on the forum opened with either the {I} or "running man" icon.

If we copy text out a Word document there may have been characters introduced that are 1) invisible or 2) not acceptable code: " can get changed to "smart quotes" (the curly versions) as just one example,  and 3) because of security problems potential or user organization policy many users here will not/ cannot open such files from an unknown source.
