Hi Experts,

I am fairly new to SAS EG and analytics, so would appreciate any support.

I have a dataset with 8 variables, 6 of which are categorical with two and more values (i.e. Gender would have two variables but Geography IDs would have up to 10 values/indices)

One of the categorical variables (Product Name) would be my dependent variable, the one I am trying to build a predictive model for.

My question, perhaps trivial, is would I be able to use the Linear Regression under the Analyze function or considering the categorical nature of my data would I be better off using another function?

Many thanks,
