Party and Party type

Hi,

we will be usgin SAS CDI solution.i want to understand how the party with multiple type is maintained in SAS CDI Solution

For Ex if a individual is a party of type Employee
and the same individual is a party of type Customer

How will SAS CDI model maintain them.
Will it create two rows?coz if it creates two row there are possibilities of having duplicates.

It would be really helpful if some can provide info on this
