Optimal binning?

Hi,

I have a question about binning with SAS. I have salesnumbers that I want to predict, but because of the volume we want to devide them in groups (binning). Is there a right and wrong way to do this? and does Enterprise Guide has optimal binning that can make groups based on certain calculations?

If someone has an idea, I would like to hear it! Thank you in advance.
